Hot streak continues with win over Toronto
Real Salt Lake rolled to an impressive 3-0 victory over Toronto FC at Rio Tinto Stadium Saturday night. The victory should give the squad confidence over the next month as it will be short a glut of midfielders to international call-ups ahead of the Gold Cup competition. Rapids eke out 1-1 draw at Rio Tinto»Real Salt Lake was poised to earn its first win in six games when, a 1-0 lead in hand, Robbie Russell was sent off for his second yellow card in the 82nd minute. But Colorado’s Omar Cummings took advantage of a gap in the Salt Lake backline and equalized in the 88th minute, giving the Rapids a 1-1 draw at Rio Tinto Stadium and a leg up in the Rocky Mountain Cup series.
